The facility

An alternate headquarters, kept warm

Resort-class amenities for a corporate buyer: catering, security and confidentiality come with the building. This is a working facility, not a leisure resort.

Serviced suites

Fully equipped serviced offices, ready to occupy. Sensitive meetings run here off the record and out of the public eye, with Roy Hotels staff discreet and in the background.

The Sim Floor

A dedicated floor with a control desk, observer pods and breakout rooms, built for running crisis simulations and training exercises in a controlled environment, separated from live operations.

Backup command centre

If your headquarters is compromised, leadership relocates here and continues operating with minimal interruption. The phrase is simple: spin up Switchyard.

Hospitality built in

Because the facility is operated by Roy Hotels, catering, security and confidentiality are part of the package. For multi-day exercises, hotel-style rooms are provided as needed.

Sim Floor

Rehearse the worst day

Full-scale simulations run here as a matter of routine: a team spends the day working a pretend incident from the control desk while executives practise on the floor.

  • "Spin up Switchyard."
  • "Book it through Roy."

Exercises are treated seriously: participants can run on separate lanyards and simulated data systems, and vendor partners or regulators can watch from the observer pods without interfering.

Continuity

Near enough to reach, far enough to hold

Pyrmont sits close to the CBD but apart from it, so an incident in the city centre does not take this facility down with it. Normally dormant, it becomes the hub the moment it is needed.

Standing retainer

Keep the facility on retainer and it stays ready to go: rooms and systems can be brought up on a phrase. Continuity drills and full-scale annual tests run here.
